What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

Browsing data

In normal operation this site’s systems collect data whose transmission is inherent in the use of internet protocols: IP addresses, browser and operating system, request time, pages visited. We use it for anonymous statistics on how the site is used and to keep the site working and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Bookings and enquiries

When you fill in a form or ask for a quote for an event, a group menu or a partnership, we collect what you give us: name, email, phone, and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer you and handle your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Table bookings are handled on an external platform (Pienissimo). In that case your data is processed on the provider’s systems, under their privacy notice, and made available to us to manage the booking.

Statistics and marketing

With your consent we use tools that measure how the site is used and that let us show you more relevant advertising: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta pixel, managed through Google Tag Manager. Without your consent these tools stay switched off. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. The full list of cookies and tracking tools is in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share data with

Your data may be processed by suppliers acting as processors on our behalf: our hosting provider, the booking platform, the statistics and advertising services listed above, and our accounting and legal advisers. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or on an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and bookings are kept for as long as needed to handle them and then for the period required by tax and civil law. Statistical data is kept according to the settings of the service used. Cookies last for the periods stated in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights write to contabilita@140grammi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country.

Changing your cookie preferences

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time from the Cookie Policy, where you will find the preferences panel.
